I just watched the video on WYMT's website and thought I'd post the brackets so here we go:

 

Opening Round Games to be played on Februrary 1st

 

Session 1

9am - Regions 9/10

10:30am - Regions 8/11

Noon - Regions 7/4

1:30pm - Regions 2/1

 

Session 2

5pm - Regions 3/13

6:30pm - Regions 12/14

8pm - Regions 6/5

What does everyone think of the draw???

Looks like all the mountain teams got paired together in that session 2 Draw. Paintsville will come out of the 15th i'm pretty sure, Not really sure about the 16th though. JBS or Hazard will come out of 14th. Not real sure about the 12th and 13th. When I look at this draw and if Paintsville makes it from the 15th then they could very well win the whole All A Classic Tournament..I honestly believe that.

Don't count out Rose Hill either! They may be a bit more "mature" by that time of the season with all of the big settings they'll be playing in prior to that!

If I'm not mistaken they could have a dogfight on there hands with Danville this year.

 

There is also Burgin and Monticello in the All A 12th Region.

No offense, but I wouldn't look for anything out of Monticello. Danville may be different, and I have no idea about Burgin. Last season, Somerset was the best team out of the four and I was just assuming that would be the case this season.

Rowan is 2A I think. They are not Class "A" for sure though. If it works out to be a Paintsville/Elliott match up, the winner there could make some serious noise.

Thanks for the information about Rowan County, I wasn't sure and I agree Paintsville or Elliott eighter one could definitly make some serious noise in this.

I agree with Rose Hill I think it will come down to Elliott- Rose Hill showdown. I like Ferguson and the Faulkners in this matchup.:thumb: Rowan co. does not play in the All A

Alot of neighboring regions playing each other...looks like the same people that did the blind draw in football did the same for the All "A" Classic...just kidding...should be a fun time for the small schools as it always is up at EKU

The draw looks determined to assure a regionally balanced final four, as many neighboring regions play in the first round. The top half of the bracket would appear to be loaded with the 9th & 10th region winners, along with likely periennial contenders UHA and LCA on the bottom half of that bracket. Wouldn't be surprized to see the winner (survivor) of that half, win the entire thing!!
