October 29, 200619 yr 1. Ohio State 2. Michigan 3. Auburn 4. Florida 5. WVU 6. Texas 7. Louisville 8. USC 9. Tennessee 10. Notre Dame This weeks loss by USC changed a lot and the WVU/Lou. game is not played utill Thurs. of this coming week. With some of the big games coming up in the next 3-4 weeks this can change and separate a lot of the list now. Right now, imo it is Ohio State and Michingan and the rest is a crap shoot. What are everyone's opinions?
October 29, 200619 yr Author I forgot another team on my list again this week.....Arkansas, they are one of the teams that I was talking about separating in the next few weeks. They have South Car. , Tenn. and LSU in the next 4 weeks and have won vs. Auburn already. Right now I would possibly put them at #8, 9 or possibly 10.

October 29, 200619 yr Uh, you forgot Louisville I'm hoping.Nope. I didn't forget Rutgers either. I just listed the top 10 teams, as I see them.
October 29, 200619 yr SEC homer...Big East hater....either way, you are in the supreme minority....even the BCS thinks it's a different scenario...
October 29, 200619 yr ^ Nice, insightbul post. Louisville is a football wannabe competing in a basketball conference. Winning in a real football conference is a little bit tougher - just ask John L. Smith!  :fire:   BTW, I am neither a Big East hater nor an SEC fan, but I know a top quality football team when I see one and I also know a cupcake schedule when I look at one. Louisville needs a signature win to convince any serious football fan that it is a legitimate national power. Since WVU's schedule is even more pathetic than U of L's, a win over the Mountaineers falls a little short of the mark, IMVHO.

October 30, 200619 yr Seeing that you have 3 Big East teams in your top 10 how can you call anyone a homer? Really. Rutgers at 10 is a knee-slapper... Actually, Louisville, WVU and Rutgers schedules look like 1-AA...you coudn't make a good team from all the teams on all three schedules... I hate to say it because I like UL and WVU, but there will be a serious uproar if either is allowed to play for the NC... What are the Big East's marquee wins OOC this year? Not Miami with the way their team has slid. I don't see any...

I mean, WVU beat a tremendous Georgia team last year, if they play a mistake free game, and the opponent doesn't in a one game scenario, anything could happen.....U of L or WVU know what they need to do to get where they want to be. If they get there they will have "earned" it, like it or not.
