That means they went in and took pieces of it out to fix it. I personally don’t like surgery on it, it can lead to long term arthritis. He must have had a bad knee twist.

August 31, 20188 yr Author Um hes an offensive lineman, the arthritis is already set in before now, trust me. True, I just remember reading a study stating that the tear itself won’t cause arthritis, the surgery can. Hopefully he takes the year off, he should easily be cleared by spring ball.

Hopefully he takes the year off, he should easily be cleared by spring ball. Not having surgery means prolonged pain and swelling which could result in further injury. Removing the torn part does leave him with less cartilage and more bone on bone resulting in the arthritis. Pick your poison, knee injuries suck.
