Makes one thing very clear, when the Reds do develop an arm, do not resign said arm to a big deal, or at all for that matter.

I realize Votto is hurt but was Dixon not available? Now that I've thought about my earlier post above, could be they wanted as many left-handed bats in the lineup against Kelly as they could get. (Dixon came in game later [OF])
August 19, 20188 yr Castillo could be so good if he would challeng the strike zone like this all the time. He just has such good stuff that he doesn't need to stay away from hitters like he usually does which runs up his pitch count and cuts his days short and gives the opponent free base runners when he nibbles.
