The program at Anderson County has came a long way in recent years, finishing 8-4 last season with a close loss to 5A runner up Madison Southern in the playoffs. Could this be a sign of big things to come in the near future for the Bearcats? I'm leaning toward yes, but GRC is a tough opponent to open the season with.

Anderson's defense will keep them in games. They have some studs on defense that I think will give opponents fits. Their offense is a big question. The kid from Montgomery County will help but they are going to have to complete a pass or two at some point in the season and I don't know if that can happen. i don't see Anderson's offense scoring a lot but their defense should put them in good positions and help out.

I have no clue how good our team will be this year. Second year for the new coach. Just hope we get better each year and he builds our teams back to competing in the very hard 6A class,

Has GRC improved some? I saw them about two years ago and they were pretty bad and fans in the stands didn't seem too happy. Anderson has a very good line and some good running backs. Not sure their passing game will be all that great but the QB can run and is athletic.
