This is true! However, I see a swagger with this team that I have not seen before...even with the 2000 team. I believe these guys have finally learned how to win. They expect to win every game.

 

With all of the changes that have been made with JC football, from the sound system to the fireworks and cannon, I also believe that teams are now intimidated when they com into The Nest. JC has a great home-field advantage.

Why does khsaa.org have JC playing Region 2 District 4/ 2 seed wich is Boyle?

Anyone else notice the Lexington Catholic coach standing behind the west endzone? I thought that was a little strange since the Knights were in Anderson County last night.

That Catholic coach had better not get too cocky because my boys, Franklin, Highlands, and Cov Cath are coming for them. I sure hope that my boys at East are the one's ending Catholic's state championship hopes. I would love for my boys to get a crack at Central.

On the way home last night my brother who plays for jc said this " we have just went 10-0 yet i feel like i have accomplished nothing if we dont go deep into the playoffs then this will not be a successful year in my book and we will not have met our goal. State is our Goal if we dont make it we failed"

So if all the other JC players are thinking like my brother than i dont think they are saticfied with a 10-0 regular season they want more.

I just now looked at the current bracket for Class 3A and JC is the only one in our district that has been determined. Boyle Co. plays Marion Co.in the first round. Here is the link if you want to take a look.

That is because Ashland and Boyd Co. play tonight after that game it will all be sorted out unless boyd beats Ashland.

I don't know Johnson's stats, but Grim had 157yrds and 2 TD's.

 

That should put his total rushing yards at 1,927 for the year(if my math is correct).

Grim has 29 TD's ...28 rushing and 1 receiving.
