Last two games, Romano has threw 15 innings of one run baseball. That is getting the job done.

I heard they sold 10,000 ticket packages for Fiona. When I was out for lunch I saw people already with the bobbleheads

Had diamond seats so got there really early. Buddy said it was a bobble head night. Nothing when we got in. Attendance was claimed to be 31k plus. No way.

I saw where they interviewed a woman who flew up from Dallas with four friends just for the Fiona bobble head giveaway. They are going to zoo tomorrow to see Fiona and then fly home. That’s crazy to me.

Yeah, that's nuts.

I heard a woman bought 55 tickets at $20-25 a piece and will be selling all of them for roughly $40-50.

You had to have purchased a special ticket to receive the bobblehead. Wasn't a normal bobblehead night.

They were a lot closer to 31K than I thought they'd be. That number couldn't have been far off.

Votto has not hit a Home Run in over a month. May 13th.

I bet he reads BGP.

By the way the national anthem was outstanding. We were still inside when the gal sang it. The place went dead silent. The video crew had some great shots of fans, military folks on hand, first responders and the flag. Very moving. Than the bald eagle was released from the cage and flew onto the field.

I always enjoyed when Sam, the bald eagle, makes an appearance. He usually does 4-5 times a year.

No position for him at the MLB level

I bet he or Scooter could play outfield. They have a definite need there.

Agreed, I'm not sure why Senzel isn't getting action in the OF.

No room for him in the outfield in Louisville right now.

Scooter or Senzel, one of them is trade bait very soon.

I heard this nugget on the Baseball Tonight Podcast: Since breaking into the big leagues, among players with at least 1500 plate appearances Billy Hamilton is dead last in runs produced.

Is it time to use him almost exclusively as a late inning pinch runner/defensive replacement?

FYI the Tigers are huge. They dwarfed the Reds.

It’s passed that time.

Yes, and I think/hope Hamilton will get traded as we approach the deadline. I do think he has some value to a contender as a pinch runner & defensive replacement, particularly teams with larger outfields.
