JLC was hands down the best part of the movie. I don’t want to downplay the movie in any way because I really did enjoy it, but there were a couple things I would have changed. Definitely an upgrade over the Rob Zombie movies.

I only really had one complaint, but I won't mention it now to keep from spoilers.

I’m going to guess we have the same complaint. Most of the people I talked to last night after the movie let out had the same complaint. I’ve seen some possible explanations that would lessen my complaint a little bit.

Mine had to do with Michael's doctor.

I’m getting ready to watch it shortly. I thought that Rob Zombie’s first one was pretty good, but the second one was bad enough to nearly ruin both combined. He shouldn’t have made the second one.

I’ll agree with that. The second one was excruciatingly bad. I just had some differences of opinion on what they chose to focus on in the first Rob Zombie and how they tried to, at least partly, explain his motivations.

The second one was really bad. Zombie went overboard and took his focus too far away from the story. I also agree that he went a little overboard with the childhood psychological stuff in the first one, but I still enjoyed it

I hated Zombie's choice to have Michael be a giant.

This one was better than Zombie’s for sure, I was impressed overall. I agree with the points about the role of the psychiatrist, didn’t like it much. As far as the direction of the story, this has been the best since the original IMO.

As far as the older sequels, I liked Halloween 4. I’d say that’s probably the third best of all the Halloween movies that have been made.

H4 was probably my favorite after the first two. Danielle Harris was great.

The original Halloween 2 was good too. The new one and that one are close to being toss ups, obviously with totally different stories.

Halloween topped the box office, raking in $77.5 million for the weekend.

I saw it Saturday night at the Starlight drive-in, in Ameila. I thought it was great. My first time at the drive-in, really enjoyed it. They had a triple feature of the original Halloween, the new one, and Venom.

I actually really like Halloween H20. After the original 2, H20 is probably my favorite not including the new one.

H5 & Resurrection are the only sequels I didn't like from the original series.
