First round of the Western Conference playoffs, game 1.

 

I would love to be in Las Vegas for this.

 

Shea Theodore scored a little over 3 minutes into the game for Vegas, then a defensive gem ensued. Great saves by both goalies. This series is going to be good.

I really expected more scoring. Great job by the D and the goalies.

I hung on to watch the 1st period and then went to bed. Vegas' pregame intro was "unique". I've seen bits and pieces of their home games this year and I'm wondering if all of their pregame theatrics are like last night's version or if it was a special playoff pregame spectacle. I did like during the National Anthem how the crowd shouts "Knight" during the part of the song that goes "Gave proof through the night".

I want the Kings but sadly can't see them moving on.
