I'm honestly shocked to see 3 teams from Pulaski County in the Region 12 semis. I expected 1 and wouldn't have been surprised with none making it.

Region 1 semis should really be good games.

Region 9-Covington Catholic

Region 16-Ashland

Honestly any of the teams left in the 10th region can win it. The next 2 days of games will be very interesting

Very surprised that Jtown is playing in the final. 1st year coach doing good things... I hope 3rd time is a charm and they beat Fern Creek tomorrow.

The 14th should be two great games tonight: Estill County vs Cordia and Perry Central vs Knott Central. Cordia defeated Knott by 6 in their district finals. They may be the team to beat at this time. They have the 6’11 Keita and quick guards McDonald and Frazier.

Estill is 24-7 and, due to their geographical location in the region, have played a good schedule that is a mixture of mountain, southcentral and Bluegrass teams. They are led by 14th region Player of the Year Caleb Bonny, a crafty and good shooting guard, and the 6’5 Doty twins.

Perry is is a well rounded team that has one of the best shooters in the region in Noah Back.

Knott also has had a good year, and although they lost the district finals to Cordia they defeated the Lions both times they played them during the season. They also won the All A region.

Four good teams and no clear cut favorites should make for a good semifinal.

Coach Cal will be at the 2nd Region game tonight watching Tandy.
