If we consider Lester our weak link, I’d guess at least 28 other teams in MLB would gladly trade rotations. I think at this point you’d be reaching to call him bad. Would they give him the same contract they gave him 4 years ago now? No, but he’s still a formidable big game pitcher. Lester is a #2 or #3 in any other team.

Besides, Cubs still won 8-4. 3 players homered, 7 had an RBI. Balanced lineup and the Cubs still have a top 5 rotation.

Dodging the stat line, I would too if I were you lol. Shifting right too the offense... but Lester is a 2 for any team you said...stick to HS football.

What took you so long lol? Nice bounce back vs a good lineup. It will be interesting how the rest of the year goes. I’m still not sold but it’s a step in the right direction.

Little bit of both but went to Lester. How about Cubs in general? They have no shortage of fans outside of Chicago.

Since 1986-87. Growing up in the Deep South, only 2 teams were on TV, the Braves on TBS and the Cubs on WGN. I went with the Cubs.
