January 30, 20188 yr Out of curiosity, I turned on the NHL All-Star game on Sunday. That was not hockey. As a big NHL fan, I agree 100%. During regular season games, 3 on 3 hockey is the best OT format in pro sports. Because of this, I was excited when the NHL went to this format for the All-Star Games. I quickly realized that when players aren't going 100% it just doesn't work. I see no reason why the casual fan would tune in and want to learn more about the sport based on what they saw.
February 1, 20188 yr I agree with both of you, but I'll take it over MLB or NBA All-Star games and over the Pro Bowl as well. The skills competition of the NHL crushes anything the other three do combined.
February 4, 20188 yr The fans had a great time. The rousing ovation for Brian Boyle from the Tampa Bay fans was touching. It touched him, too. A short photo array is of the weekend here. 2
