I feel that the state game that we beat Boone in 1994 was one of the more physical games we as seniors ever played....Shaun did not want any part at the end.

In the Ashland - Prestonsburg game in 2005, Adam Cannoy laid down one of the hardest hits I have ever seen on any level! The hit actually led to the coaches meeting at the 50 yard line and almost getting into it! They also had to end the half early because of the controversy over the perfectly legal hit.

 

 

That is the one I was thinking of that was the hardest I have ever witnessed! Before that I remember Ashlands Marc Washington I think it was the 92 or 93 season at Ironton he hit one of the Delong boys on the Ironton sideline right in front of Lutz he had about a 6 or 7 yard run on him as he was catching a pass he didn't even see it coming he form fit him as he was landing an drove him into the ground, Man, that was the hardest hit I could remember since I had been watching or playing. up until Adam Canoy last year

on the P-burg kid!!! :eek: :eek: Both kids were fine to the best of my knowledge.

Saw a nice hit tonight at the Highlands vs. Dixie frosh game. Certainly one of the best hits I have ever seen in a fresh game. The Dixie player fortunately was fine and came back to finish the game. I'm guessing he has some headache though.

 

On a varsity level I would have to say the Mike Mitchell hit on the Boyle Co. player, Given I believe was his name, has to be the all time best. It was during the regular season game at Highlands. Gametime had the best view of the hit.
