I know Hobbs and Robinson and they do not slam kids. Robinson may but I know Hobbs does not. He can get a little red on the officials and the newspapaper but I think he calls it as he sees it. He does a lot of advertising and promotes the schools as much as he can.

With all do respect tubby, I have personally heard them do it at times. I am not going to get into it on here or anywhere else for that matter but I have definately heard it but in all fairness I also have heard them praise kids.

:thumb: No problem with me either Tubby, I have made no predictions on toinights game......just a personal policy of mine not to predict Raceland games, don't want to jynx them:D I have given other teams in other threads to "oldrambler" kiss of death:eek: too many times before and I don't want to do it to my own team.I hope that both teams will come out of the game injury free.:thumb:

Got word that tonight's officials will be from Lexington. If that is the case I am gald they are bringing a crew from outside this region.

Don't feal bad there wasn't a write up in the paper about the Russell vs East Carter game either. I havn't been impressed with the independents coverage of high school football this season as a whole. Seems Like since Rick Greene took over for head sports editor for Mark Maynard that the level of high school football coverage around here has dropped. I know usually there is a write up about the kiwanis bowl every year in the paper and of course there wasn't this year.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it and I respect that. I have to disagree though, What game does Fairview circle on their schedule EVERY year? I think that we all know the answer to that one. No mater what they say outwardly that is what they do. It really doesn't matter though and I am not going to :argue: as you say about it. Raceland hasn't been "the top dog" in the last few years but the overall tradition of Raceland Football cannot be denied no matter how much someone wants to.

 

 

Oldramber - Raceland's tradition is hard to match, not many area teams do.

 

Tonight I think Raceland will prove way too much for Fairview. I think they will win by at least 3 TD's.
