Texas 33 Missouri 16

Featured Replies

It was good to see Texas post a win in a game between to bad teams. Hopefully Texas can build on this and be back to being a force next season.

Missouri shot themselves in the foot a few times in this game. The biggie was when they were trailing by 5 and had the ball in the 4th quarter and snapped it over the quarterback’s head and onto the end zone for a safety. Texas marches down for a field goal and 10 point lead and finished off the Tigers.

Anyone know the story behind the back and forth between the two teams? I just saw the highlights. After a Lock touchdown he started doing some weird strut around the field. Then, after intercepting him later, the Texas defense started mocking him by doing the same walk, which was kind of funny. Herrmann joined in by doing the same thing, which was kind of an embarrassing look for UT.

Poor look by the Texas coach.

It goes back to when Missouri joined the SEC and the Texas AD at the time really dissed the Tigers. I noticed both were chippy and taunting all game. The QB thing was replayed a lot as he ran down field with the Horns down sign.
