December 26, 20178 yr Would many Bengal fans turn on the Bengals if...They hired Urban Meyer away from Ohio State? A buddy that is a life long fan of both said he would hate the Bengals for all time, if they happened to hire Urban away from OSU. I think there is next to zero chance that Urban ever becomes the Bengals coach and that's not what we are discussing. But if it happened, would you be happier for the Bengals or sadder for the Bucks if you were a fan of both?

IF he would or wouldn't take the job isn't the question....the question is would OSU Fans that are also Bengals fans be more upset with losing him at OSU or Happier with him being with the Bengals. I think most fans of both would be more upset if he left OSU to go to the Bengals, maybe enough to no longer be a fan of the Bengals.

December 27, 20178 yr I would rather Urban stay at OSU and I think most Bengals/ Buckeye fans would agree. At least with Urban at OSU I am guaranteed a competitive team year in and year out. Urban coaching for the Bengals and OSU hiring a new guy doesn't guarantee me that. Plus I'm not sure Urban would even be a fit for the NFL game.
December 27, 20178 yr Oh, id think most of them would be glad hes gone from OSU. Glad he's gone from OSU? Haha that's ridiculous. Yeah there are some that would be ecstatic that he's the Bengals coach but it would be a bittersweet feeling for every fan of both teams for sure.

I just don't see the state supporting the Bengals like they do the Browns.
