Also, from host Al Mayo:

Hey folks--it's been great using all the nominees (last year) week after week on the show, and we'll continue to use them for the foreseeable future. I wanted to remind you of a couple things. When you nominate a player, I need his height, weight, and class designation (Freshman, Sophomore, Etc). I also need the stats to be correct. Just telling me it looked like he ran for over a hundred yards won't do it. Please include all pertinent numbers like carries, pass attempts, completions, yardage gained, number of tackles--you all understand what I need. Otherwise, I have to track these numbers down. Not that I mind doing the legwork, but I normally save this part of the show for last, so I can take nominees until the last possible hour, so I just don't have the time to look it all up. I'll usually pull the information from here by Thursday afternoon, so try to have your candidates nominated by about 2:00pm Thursdays. I couldn't be happier with the information you've all provided, and I'm looking forward to continuing our association with BGP!

KNN High School Scoreboard Show

I would like to nominate 6'1 200 pound senior Kasey Clark of Russell 12 carries for 218 yards and 4tds to lead Russell to win over Estill County.

Griffin from Campbell County had 299 yds on 11 catches?, and 4 td's

I'll make another vote 4 Griff. What a great game this kid had on a big stage.

I nominate #2 Corey Jackson from Mercer Co.

3 carries

161 yards

3 TD's

And as the Advocate New Messenger so succinctly put it.....has yet to be tackled.

Our KNN Scoreboard Show/BluegrassPreps.com Player of the Week is Rockcastle County RB Dusty Miller. Miller rushed 32 times for 297 yards and 2 touchdowns against district rival Bell County. Dusty also had 6 tackles from his corner position. The Senior RB also broke 2 school records in this game. Longest rushing touchdown from LOS (97) and most yards rushing in a game (297).

Thanks guys and congrats to Dusty.

This weeks KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps.com Player Of The Week is Christian County's Keith Tandy. Tandy ran for 108 yards and passed for 262 yards and four TDs in a 31-24 victory over Marshall County. This is the second P.O.W. honor for Keith in the past three weeks.

I nominate #2 Corey Jackson from Mercer Co.

3 carries

161 yards

3 TD's

And as the Advocate New Messenger so succinctly put it.....has yet to be tackled.

That's pretty impressive.....Jackson gets my vote.
