Final per the scoreboard.

Final. Surprised Spencer lost this one also hurt me bad in the Contest.:irked:

First game back for Conley. Only played about a quarter total. Spencer County is a few weeks away.

Spencer falls to 3-4 and the losses are to teams who are a combined 13-16 so far this season. To start the year you I think you would have to say that both Spencer and Anderson have not played up to pre-season talk. imo

Anderson did get a good win last night over South Oldham so maybe they will start playing to the pre-season talk.

I would have to disagree with you. Take the best player off any team in the region and see how they fair. Preseason talk is about a fully loaded team. Spencer County has lost three games at the buzzer and one by six to Bullitt East without their best player. He is back now and it will take a few weeks for him to regain strength in his broken hand. People on here talk about Walton Verona missing one of their key players, well you have to say the same thing about other teams. I think Spencer County has been very impressive in their losses. Talk is cheap though. We'll see how things go over the next two weeks. Anderson County has had everybody

With or without Conley, this is a good win for a North Oldham team trying to find its identity with a ton of seniors - but almost none with any experience.

This perhaps bodes well for North's competitiveness in the 29th, where they will have to be able to beat at least Trimble - a team they just beat recently - and South Oldham - which had to pull one out of the fire late against Spencer.

Congrats to the Mustangs.

Agree, however, with those who are saying not to bury Spencer yet. I think we'll get a better idea of how the Bears will fare this year in January....

What was the reason for North rushing the court after the win?

Game was tied and they hit a three at the buzzer to win.

That makes sense. Thanks!
