Breathitt and Middlesboro meet up in two weeks in Jackson, what do you think will be the outcome of this game of the week game?

This game may very well be the game of the week in 2A next week. Both the Bobcats and Yellowjackets are 7-1 entering the game. This is going to be a denfensive battle. If the Bobcats can come out and play like they do in the second half at the start of the game then the bobcats will win. But if they stutter arounf then they can get beat. I give it to breathitt though in a close one.

I seen the corbin/middlesboro game and from what i saw Corbin had a horrible night tackling. They had their chances, but didn't get it done. I think Breathitt's defense is one of the better defenses that Middlesboro has face. I also think that the confusion defense Middlesboro plays, plays into the hands of the bobcats' offense. However Breathitt's offense really needs to help the defense out in this one. In my opinion this will not only be one of the "games of the week" in the mountains, or 2a but state wide. Distyrict championship is up for grabs, the number 1 seed is up for grabs, not to mention this is a heated rival game. In my opinion, I think if Breathitt can put together a full game (like the second half they have played all year) Breathitt will win 28-14. If not then this could be a classic.

It should be another GREAT game between these two teams.

I agree but I don't expect as much scoring as you. IMO, it will be more like 22 to 18 Bobcats. But we I would be satisfied with a 6 to 0 score.

Here is what i think about the whole playoff format. In my opinion this would have been the regional championship game. Both teams in my opinion are a step ahead of any other team in the region. Them having to play twice once in district play and one in the second round is horrible. This would have been one of the better regional championship matchups. I am not saying teams in the region couldn't beat these teams but still yet i think they are the clear 2 favorites in the region at this point. I'm looking forward to Friday night in Jackson

I think it will be another high scoring game with Middlesboro pulling away late. I'd say a score like 42-28.

I think that Breathitt's improving young defense and the high powered potential of Breathitt's offense will be too much for the jackets. This will be the game to watch and I look forward to making the trek to Jackson.

From watching the Corbin/Middlesboro game, I left feeling very concerned about both teams defense. I think Breathitt will do just as well picking apart the Middlesboro defense, and do a much better job than Corbin at stopping them. Therefore I see Breathitt winning by 14.
