Wow!!! Lee County hasn’t ever lost a game by 80 points in my memory, and I’ve been watching teams from our district since the early 1960’s.

I didn't think so either and I have been keeping up with them since 1968. Boy that team was fun to watch.

Yes it was! The ‘68 team was a great team and indeed fun to watch. One missed free throw kept them out of the state championship game. And the guy who missed the free throw was an excellent free throw shooter, probably the best on the team.

They had a tall center that was pretty good, too, lol. Went on to play for UK.

He’s a shooter for sure. When he gets hot from deep he’s going roll up a lot of points in a hurry. 57 points in 20 minutes is a phenomenal performance.
