PRP and Mercer might be a bit high at the top. I know Trevon is a beast but after him and the QB, I don't know how much they have to be ranked #8. I know UHA is getting a lot of love but I watched them at the Next up recruits scrimmage and Tandy is the real deal, but after him the drop off is really big. Butler definitely should be in the top 20; maybe even top 10 to 15 good. They play really well together and understand their roles on the team. I know we all are in love with Fern Creek, Trinity and Cov Cath, etc. etc. I would just say that a new year brings a new team....a lot of these guys are seniors now and some of these guys are still playing for a free college education.....that always brings chemistry issues into play.

#12 GRC beat #2 Scott Co in a scrimmage today at Lawrence Co by 14 points. GRC had all 5 starters score in double figures.

Bowling Green beat Fern Creek this Summer and just blew out Christian Co. by 20 and played Saint X at there place with another blow out win 84-65. Top 20 without Bowling Green in it is crazy talk no offense. BG has 3 kids who will fill the stat sheet. Jarius Key will be a dominate force all season. Had 20 today against Saint X. Trevor Dennis put up 22 points. Bowling Green is deep and very quick. Eli Thurman and Trevor Dennis can shoot the basketball with anyone.

Bowling Green is very likely going to surprise people this season as those are all good wins. Summer wins can be deceiving sometimes because coaches put a different emphasis on what they are trying to accomplish and you do not always have your full roster e.g. Fern Creek played without their All-Region PG all June due to a broken foot. But those other two wins are recent and usually these scrimmages are more game like.

I think people suspect they will drop off after losing their entire starting team, so the optics portray not having much experience returning. People forget these kids waited their turn to shine and practiced against the very best in KY last season. It would not surprise me to see them become very good and just think if Harmon had stayed. I still do not understand why he would not have wanted to continue there. They would be scary good then.

BG High School is full of athletes. In Kentucky you can win alot of games with athletes. Mix that in with a couple of bball players and BG shouldn't drop off that much at all
