Not too surprised by this. I thought this would be the most competitive game in 1A tonight. Congratulations to Pikeville on advancing.

Heck of a game but lots of flags..

How about those Panthers!!

Congrats Panthers on the tough win. Hazard has two good RB, plus Blair at the QB position. I really think Hazard won the battle in the trenches, but Pikeville kept their heads and were pretty accurate in the passing game. Pikeville QB Conner Roberts played his position tonight like he was a four yr. starter, instead of his first year varsity start at that position. Good to know he'll be back for the next couple of seasons too. Want to say congrats to Hazard on the successful season you've had. Y'all are one tough football team.

I agree I think they won the trenches too BUT it never amounted to points... Credit the Pikeville defense for those stops. Plus it don’t help when you shoot yourself in the foot.

Pikeville doesn’t do it much. So that helps them. I thought officials called a great first half and let those kids play. The second was slow as all get out. Not enough flow like the first.

How many seniors does Hazard have?

How many seniors does Hazard have?

They lose 13 seniors.

They lose 4 on the offensive side the ball and that’s 1 lineman, 1 running back and 2 Wide Receivers.

Defense loses two defensive end, the nose, 1 linebacker, and 1 safety.

They still have a pretty good junior and sophomore class.

The incoming freshmen not sure how many but there team has a good season with wins over Paintsville, Pikeville, Shelby Valley and Belfry.
