As I said in the game updates, I am EXTREMELY proud of Thomas Nelson. It is a relatively new football program making its first playoff appearance, and they got the experience of traveling 250 miles to get a first hand look at a program playing at the highest level. GREAT experience for those kids. AND, they didn't get there and roll over. It was 21-14 early in the 2nd quarter. Way to go Generals!!!

I really liked the TNHS program and how they represented themselves last night.

Their crowd was small but enthusiastic, even deep into the game when the outcome was evident, they were really supporting their team.

The team really was disciplined and they never gave up. The adrenaline eventually wore off some after Belfry pulled away, but the fight was still there. They were a pretty decent football team, and they had some nice athletes. They hung in there with Belfry for quite some time.

The future looks bright for the Generals.
