Can the Chargers put up a fights or will the Colonels get another big win?

Waste of time. Can't put toothpaste back in tube, but I long for the 11 game regular season and 4 round playoff format.

Oh well.

CovCath wins big.

East has tall task on the road

MOUNT WASHINGTON – Bullitt East head coach Mark Sander is not going to hide anything from his players.

He’s not going to sugarcoat the task at hand this Friday night.

But he’s not going into the first round Class 5A Russell Athletic/KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl thinking that his Chargers will lose.

The task at hand is facing the top ranked team in the Litkenhous ratings. That is number one for all six classes.

“Anything can happen,” said Sander.

Sander said that obviously his team will be a major underdog.

“I’m a realist,” said the veteran coach.

But he said his Chargers will prepare this week like it does for every opponent.

“We’ll look at what they do well and what things we think we can do against them,” said Sander.

His hope is that some of the 13 players who couldn’t suit up for last week’s game will be able to play on Friday night.

Why did the Chargers have 13 players who couldn't suit up last week? Injuries?
