46 yard field goal kicked by Gavin Patterson of the South Alabama. Came in the 3rd quarter of the Jaguars' game against the Georgia State Panthers last night. Georgia State ended up winning 21-13.

Things like this amaze me. You have to wonder if in the history of football this has ever occurred? Not sure I have ever seen a football hit a goal post two times?

I've seen it hit the cross bar or the upright post but never the upright post and then bounce on the cross bar to the other side. That what you call getting the right bounce.

Field judge took an extra second to confirm it was good.

The wind looked wicked.

Got an extra link CWB? The one in your post from this morning seems to not be active any longer.

Thanks CWB!
