Bob and Amy (Murderer) Bosley--- Did Anyone on Here Know Them???

Featured Replies

I have watched all of the "Forensic Files" episodes multiple times, including the episode of Bob and Amy Bosley of Campbell County. I know we have a lot of northern KY BGP'ers on here. Did anyone know this couple? Amy plead guilty of killing Bob and was sentenced to 20 years in prison back in 2006. Bob had a successful business and the couple lived a pretty lavish lifestyle. Apparently, Amy killed him so that he wouldn't find out that she had been stealing millions from the business.

Did any of you know these people?

I met Bob on a handful of occasions in the professional world via his roofing business. I also heard all kinds of stories from other Northern Kentucky construction contractors about all sorts of wild things that had taken place at Bob's parties on his boat, affectionately known as "the booby barge".

From what I remember coming out in the news reports and in Amy's trial after the fact, it sounded like the majority of those stories were pretty much the truth.

Yes, the shows I watched mentioned lots of parties on the boat.

Didn't know them personally but went to the funeral because I was close with a family member at the time. I was young, barely 20 at the time. Looking back, stuff makes a lot more since now.

I went to high school with Bobby. We were not super close but happened to run into him a couple of weeks prior to his murder. I had to drop something off at his old house. He was kind enough to give me a tour which included him showing me a 9MM that he kept in his nightstand. His wife brought in a stack of photos from one of his most recent boat weekends. Interesting to say the least. I remember getting the call in the morning that he had been shot. I’ve seen the Snapped episode, but have not seen Forensic files. Looking forward to watching it.

Did you happen to see my cousin in any of those pictures? I believe him and Bob were boating buddies. :eyeonyou:

Was ‘Jolly Mon’ the name of his boat?

For your viewing pleasure. FYI, I also heard part of the suspicion is was done from the inside was there was no footsteps in the frost in the grass. Heard the washing machine had been run prior to the shells being found.

Also, wasn’t it proven that the window broken from the inside?

Yes 2 videos confirmed that, the documentary said the other way. Forensics claimed they found glass that matched the broken window on the bat they found in the basement.
