Aaron Rodgers Hurt

Think Bret Farve.

As in Brett Favre coming back and playing? Surely you don't think Favre is coming back.

No silly, Farve came about because Green Bay QB got hurt.

The guy Favre replaced wasn't great (although Majkowski wasn't awful either). Plus Roger's backup isn't as good as Favre was, not mention Rogers has potentially 4-5 more years left as a top 5 QB. In some cases, injuries forcing teams to play a new QB can be a good thing. But in this case, that's doubtful.

So Brett Hundley = Brett Favre? :lol2:

Vontaze Burfict would be suspended for the remainder of the season if he made that tackle. In fact, same penalty if he made either of the two hits Steelers Mike Mitchell made in the Chiefs game. Barr's hit, IMO, was just tough result from a hard football play. Mitchell's was what the league is trying to eliminate (fines and suspension are in order).

He could have eased up or just pushed him instead of driving him to the ground. He knew exactly what he was doing. More dirty than against the rules.

Sadly I feel the NFL singles Tez out to the nth degree.

Gotta hate (love) progressive discipline...

Farve was as good as Farve ended up being, when he replaced Majkowski either.

He could be, wont know unless he gets on the field.

Big difference on both ends. Favre was a high 2nd round pick that the Packers traded a number one pick for. Majkowski was a pretty average QB who wasn’t going to be the long term guy in GB anyway. Favre was getting that job at some point in time. Sure we didn’t know that Favre would be as good as he ended up. But he was more of the QB of the future than the guy he replaced.

Hundley is a late round draft pick sitting behind one of the top 10 guys ever to play the position who has plenty of gas left. The Pack ain’t looking at him to replace Rodgers. Two completely different situations that aren’t really comparable.

You said it was a good thing though. Even if he is Favre it's still a downgrade from Rodgers so it can't really be classified as a good thing for GB.
