Ludlow/Beechwood Updates

Featured Replies

Oldercoach is out of here. 56-0 BW at half. Ludlow has less than 20 yards by my estimate. Total dominance. If Blackburn gets any tonight, it will be against the Tiger's reserves. Impressive effort Beechwood.

I’m not surprised by this. Beechwood has played a gauntlet of a schedule. Ludlow has had an easier schedule and it’s showing. Teams that play up are better prepared. I believe future coach stated in the prediction thread that this would be a factor.

Can anyone explain that intentional grounding call?

You are not allowed to intentionally throw the ball away in high school football. Burch has gotten that called on 3 or 4 times this year. He needs to throw it at a receivers feet instead of throwing in out of bounds. Dumb your not allowed because it’s a rule to protect quarterbacks and if High School athletics is about protecting kids you should be able to throw a ball if out of the pocket.
