Beechwood 49 Bellevue 0

Featured Replies

Did Beechwood get out healthy?

They had a few minor knicks but i believe they are ok. Pulled a few players earlier than expected but Bellevue wasn’t doing much offensively so I think they wanted to get whoever needed it out to make sure the minor knicks didn’t escalate!!!!

Beechwood's offense was a little off their game most of the first half. They missed on several pass connections. They had a couple turnovers. They looked good running their two minute offense at the end of the half and were much more in sync the second half. The running game is looking a little better each week. Last week versus Simon Kenton was the best the running game has looked and the Tigers kept that momentum going in this game.

The Beechwood defense was outstanding all night. They are fast and they get multiple players to the ball. They are very good at quickly recognizing what the other team is running and reacting to it.

Too many turnovers for Beechwood. That is something they need to work on.

Next week Beechwood gets to see the Ludlow Panthers first hand at Beechwood.

Sounds like a sloppy Beechwood game on a Thursday night. Would have expected they would have put the Yellow and Black Tigers away earlier but I'm sure this was just a workman-like effort with the focus being on next week.

Look for the rotation to tighten up a bit in that one while still playing a good number on offense and defense and wearing down Ludlow.
