Does your school have an open date during fall break or do they play? If they play, do they seem to play any better or worse that week? Franklin-Simpson is not playing on fall break Friday this year, but they have played during the break several times the last few years and sometimes seemed like they were not themselves that game.

BG purposefully schedules a Thursday game (tonight actually) to kick off Fall Break with a week from this Friday being their BYE week. Seems to work out well for them as they can get away from it for week and then have a week to get ready for................the Barren County Trojan!!!!!!!! Pretty sweet deal!

One would think so, or hope.

Depends on your district. They can petition to not be a part of the later start date if tourism isn't a significant part of the local economy

It is still up to the individual schools. The incentives to start later are not worth it.

It depends on where bye week falls. This year it was week 0 so we play during fall break.
