NewCath at Ludlow Predictions

Featured Replies

Panthers had a week off to get ready for this one while NCC took the second half off against Beechwood.

Could the Panthers at home get their first win over NCC in what could be their last meeting? They trailed Beechwood 14-7 at one point in the weather delayed game and only lost 13-6 to Newport.

Will NCC attempt some sort of balance on offense or will it be all run or all pass? Are they mentally drained with the 2-5 start?

Thoughts?

Well I will say NCC is still definitely favorite to win this game because they are NCC. But the Panthers have seem to really have gotten their offense rolling in the last couple of weeks, so I think they will be able to put up some points on NCC. I think it really will come down to Ludlow being about to stop Vicars. Ludlow has good corners to stop the pass, but like Beechwood ran all over the Panthers. So if the Panthers are going to keep it close they got to stop Vicars or atleast contain him some what. If Ludlow has the game close going into the 4th quarter I think they have a great chance, but they just have to keep it close so this way they keep their confidence up, and not think it will be the same as any other NCC Ludlow game...

I think you will see some others rushing the ball in addition to Vickars for NCC in this game.

Special teams could once again be a factor in this one. NCC had to go with their Linebacker/Punter to kickoff against Beechwood to get a true defensive player that can make a tackle as the last person to beat to prevent a TD.

Yeah I think we will see NCC run the ball almost every play to start this game, because if they saw or even heard about the Beechwood game at all they would know that Beechwood just ran the ball at will. So I expect NCC to just keep running the ball, until Ludlow can prove that they can stop it, and taht will be hard to do...

New Cath. 38-7.

Ncc 44 Ludlow 12 NCC is not happy about their 2-5 start and someone will pay...unfortunately Ludlow is next in line. Where is this game being played? If at Ludlow... I say NCC 36-12.

NCC by as much as they want.

It is at Ludlow. If Ludlow can find away to stop the run they will have a chance to stay in this game, but if its like the Beechwood game where they couldn't stop the run at all then the score probably would end up to be around the score that you said.

I look for the Panthers to play a very solid game against NCC. As stated it will come down to Ludlow being able to stop the run, but I believe they will do a better job of it than they did against Beechwood. Fatigue may play a bigger part than anything else.
