I agree. Coach Jim Kennedy got it all started beginning when he first arrived for the season of 1966. At that time he was T's fourth head coach in four years. He stabilized the program and won T's first state championship two years later.

Beatty because he a Cadillac and turned it into a Porsche 911. That's hard to do

Bob Beatty has the same number of state titles as St. Xavier does as a program, so I would say he wins any contest.

 

Love Dennis and he's right there.

 

What would LSURock say? Would he give a shout out to Dave Moore? He won 3 state titles in 5 years in the mid-70s. Was a great guy!

I hope the Guru will share his thoughts on why coach Lampley is his favorite.
