DeSales (3-0) will have fresh legs coming off their open week. The Colts have logged victories over top 10 6A teams Ballard and Butler and continued their complete and utter dominance of Louisville Holy Cross, winning 47-0. Thus far, DeSales has looked every bit the formidable championship contender we thought they'd be.

Fern Creek (2-2) on the other hand, has lost consecutive games on the road at Central and Butler. The schedule only gets tougher as the Tigers will continue their three week road trip around Louisville when they visit DeSales this coming Friday.

We better not take them Creekers lightly....a wounded Tiger can be dangerous!

I am not surprised about the Butler win over Fern Creek. Butler is going to make some noise this year. I am confused by the Central dominance of Fern Creek followed by the Ballard dominance of Central. Including the DeSales win over Ballard, that would make this look like a very winnable game for the Colts. And THAT makes me nervous....

I think it will be closer than many on here predict.
