Phelps is now 3-0

What a start for Coach Jones and the Hornets after he was shot this summer! Keep it rolling Coach!

Congrats Phelps and Coach Jones.

Really happy for Phelps.

David Jones took over a program who was 2-39 the 4 seasons prior and one of those wins was a forfeit. From 2011-2015 Phelps had losing streaks of 21 and 24 games.

Since taking over at the start of the 2016 season, Jones has led the Hornets to a 7-6 record. Phelps lost their first 3 under Jones, and have been 7-3 since while playing a similar schedule.

It is hard to really put into words how incredible this transformation has been. I hope it continues.

Congrats Hornets, nice work coach. I'd say Coach Jones will be on a couple schools radar over the nice couple years.
