When did it start being common practice in hyperlinks that zeroes get dropped? I was trying really hard to figure out how a kid could be 6-8 and just 42 pounds.

Been happening for quite a while for some reason, I see it other places as well.

Well, it's a dumb trend and makes hyperlinked headlines look incredibly misleading.

I always go back and edit.....simple fix.

 

However, I like you was wondering about a 6-8 42 pound "sticks McGinnis". LOL

It's not you — I think it's something that either websites that provide the content do, or perhaps it's something in the BGP mechanism. I'm leaning toward other sites and giving G the benefit of the doubt.
