It's only been 83 PAs but man do things with Winker look promising.... .298/.398/.507 with 4 HRs, 10 RBI and 12 BBs.

Hes definitely keeping the bench warm as well.

Needs to get an opportunity to play every day for the remainder of the season.

No doubt

Winker -.398

Cozart -.404

Votto -.447

Suarez - .380

Gennett -.340

Barnhart -.337

They have six guys on the offense that are outstanding at getting on base. If they can improve LF & CF a bit, they'll be a lot of fun to watch next year (obviously Cozart is probably gone), at least offensively.

Don't need my 4 hitter getting on base. In this case the LF you speak of. Need him hitting for power and driving in runs. Duvall has done that now 2 years in a row on fairly consistent basis.

I rarely knock on players but is anyone else sick of hearing how good Lorenzen is? Talks of wanting to be greatest ever, wanting to be two way player, be a starter and comes across as a guy teammates would hate. Just get some people out. Hope he's been humbled this 2nd half because he's been awful

I was thinking about that last night. I know the bullpen has been overworked, but he's been pretty bad lately.

Reds pitchers set a record last night by the bullpen allowing 13 runs. Also for the first time since 1999 the Reds had three pitchers get a base hit in a game.

Yeah, but I love his intro music.
