I'm just guessing here.....but did the lack of a kicking game (extra points) come into play with this one going to an extra frame?

Nicholas Co. converted every extra point. Kick, kick, run, run, run

Bellevue did not convert on their first and last extra point attempts. Great game by both teams with two totally different styles!

Nicholas County was 2 for 2 on extra point kicks , Bellevue missed the only one they tried and went for two the rest of the night ... Nicholas had to answer 2's the rest of the night ... Nicholas was lined up for the kick in overtime and Bellevue jumped off sides and Nicholas went for two on have the distance and ran it in , take away the risk of a bad snap .... heckuva of a high school football game , both teams played hard ... good luck to the tigers the rest of the year ... proud of the young Jackets

Not really surprised with this final. Bellevue isn't going to win the close ones. Poor clock management and no real knowledge in how to close out a game. Bellevue deserves better.
