First thing I noticed as well, perhaps the biggest story from this game. He should be big for the Pioneers this year.

I know Simon Kenton is good, but what has happened to Meade County? They've always been solid but after the finals loss in 2013 and semifinal run in 2014 they have really fallen off.

 

Just a lack of talent issue, their middle school team has been average at best the last few years.

SK defense forced Meade to go 3-and-out on 4-of-6 possessions in first half (not counting final possession in which it only had 3 downs due to time):

Really glad to see Freshman Reed Carmony get some snaps at qb in the game. He came up through South Kenton and is a really good qb.

I went to game just to see Simon Kenton and they looked solid. QB rifles that ball into tight windows. Meade is down bad again. First time seeing Simon Kenton and I was impressed. Solid effort all around. Now after reading on here found out they were missing their starting running back. They can only get better. Good luck Pioneers.

To say Meade is down I am pretty sure they have close to 20 Seniors.

Glad to see Senior Will Parks back on the field he is now a out side linebacker for the Pioneers. He missed all of last year with an injury.
