Was wondering if Edmonson was ruled eligibile or not for Gallatin Cty.. I had heard he was not. Just goes to show you that schools like Highlands (Mitchell, football) and Boone Cty (Behrens) seem to get away with bringing in transfers but a little school like Gallatin has a kid come to play and suddenly the KHSAA has the courage to enforce their rules..

I believe the KHSAA enforced the rule on Mitchell. A lot of people get ruled ineligible.

After a year of litigation and still allowing Highlands to be declared State Champions. Now there is some real enforcement of the rules and had it been another school besides HHS the issue would have been resolved much earlier but you can't take on the mighty Bluebird faithful and their wide array of litigators and fans now can we..Just ask a few who have been banished for doing so..:fight: :lol:

Highlands won the state title without Mitchell, therefore they get to keep it.
