Anybody ever check some of these out?

 

There's a few dudes here and there who have risen up to be the more popular ones getting the most notice, but normally most of them just get on my nerves with their loudmouthed bad attempts at being funny, while just taking too doggone long with getting to the point, and reviewing the dang sandwich.

 

This guy however stands out, and over the last 6 years starting as a teen has now posted 795 total videos on his channel "The Report of the Week" while we have literally watch him go from being a kid to an adult.

 

He has a bit of a weird Harold type vibe, of the movie "Harold and Maude" if you're familiar with that 1971 cult classic, and while I'm still not exactly sure what his background is, or if he was a rich kid, he sharply dresses daily in a suit and tie with an old fashioned 1930's hair style, and sits most of the time in his luxury car going through drive thru's at fast food joints, and reviews new items on their menu in a very calm laid back, no over-the-top shouting way. Sometimes he will mix things up and report from a different setting, but mostly known for reviewing from his car.

 

He looks like the awkward intelligent loner kid from your high school days who was more mature than everyone else, but had no friends, kept quiet and to himself, and had no athletic skills.

 

While at first glance he seems tremendously boring, and nobody you'd care to view for very long, for some reason it becomes addicting to watch him, and he actually does give very trustworthy reviews.

 

I'm expecting one day for him to recognized to him ending up on Ellen or The Tonight Show or something.

 

I wouldn't know where to begin in showing one of his 795 videos, so I'll just post his most current one.

 

I hate to say it, but I can't stand him. He talks way to much. I like Casualgamerreed. His reviews are short, to the point, he often makes reference to his ex wife (which is funny although Im not sure she actually exists), plus he is from Kentucky. He always wears a UK hat for the UK fans. I also watch Daym Drops and KBDProduction, Ken Domik, out of Canada.

That guy seems kinda boring. I like this guy. He's entertaining and funny.

Wow, I couldn't stand either one of these so called reviews. The first guy I wanted to reach thru the video to slap him so he could get to the point! The second guy I just couldn't understand with all that background noise.

Do we really need people to review fast food restaurants? Walk into a Taco Bell anywhere in the US and your chalupa supreme will taste the same whether you are in Maine or Oregon.

No surprises that he wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, and I agree that he talks too much and is boring, however I'm amused somehow by the oddity of him being a throwback to another time with sporting a style that is completely out of touch with the modern day.

 

The loudmouthed types to me go overboard with their obnoxious noise and hype trying to make a name for themselves by drawing attention as being all hip, and not at all humorous like they think they are.

 

He is unique considering that his approach is all his own, however dry and smarmy, but minus the loud noisy hype, and I can't but help to wonder what his deal is, where he came from, and how he got to be this refined kid in a day where refinement isn't even apart of most kids' vocabulary.

I eat out all the time. Nothing wrong with it. But I won't ever eat fast food if I can help it.

I don't watch YouTube videos and if I did, it wouldn't be to review a Big Mac, fries and a coke.

It's cool with me that people are debating the necessity of fast food reviews, but to be clear I honestly only posted this to draw attention to this strange kid and his unique quirky schtick, and wondered if anyone else had ever seen him before. He's slow and steadily becoming famous for simply sampling fast food on a regular basis, and giving his take on it.

 

Regarding fast food reviews, I'm cool with it as time and again we'll see something new, and maybe unusual advertised on TV like Arby's Pork Belly Sandwiches etc... and before trying them myself, I like to watch a few of these reviews to get an idea if it's as good as the commercials try to make it sound.

 

Fast food places are constantly scrambling to come up with something new to stay relevant, so that's why these reviewer guys never run out of stuff to post a video about. There's a ton now of these folks out there doing it, but only a handful of them that seem to be getting most of the attention as they perfect their approach, and gain more followers.
