Ray Tensing wants his job back as a cop at the University of Cincinnati

They were awarded I think 4 million dollars and free tuition for all of Sam Dubose's 12 children.

Yes I know, but that was UC’s settlement. Does that prohibit them from going after him personally?

Thankfully, 2 juries made up of citizens of his community disagreed with you enough.

OJ didn't get convicted either. Neither did R. Kelly, and they had a freakin' video of the crime he was being accused of, just like Tensing. The US legal system doesn't work, and the fact is, 95% of the time police officers just don't go to jail for murdering people.

I may be mistaken but I thought Tensing was a party to the lawsuit so when it was settled all claims against him were settled.

I think he was.

Tensing is still being investigated by the Feds for civil rights violations. That's what they convicted the SC cop last year I believe and received a 20 year sentence.

I think the average citizen (me included) would never want to second guess a police officer’s last minute decision even when faced with video proof. The world is a dangerous place and officers make split second decisions that most of us could never make.

Murder is a tough charge, and I think honestly he would have been convicted of lesser charges if it had not been so politically charged.
