July 27, 20179 yr The Nationals have hit 4 straight HRs today in the 3rd inning. When's the last time a team has went back-to-back-to-back-to-back?
July 27, 20179 yr Sounds like maybe the Nats got smart and had all their players sew "Tebow" on the back of their jerseys.
July 27, 20179 yr Looks like the last time was 8-11-2010 http://www.baseball-almanac.com/recbooks/rb_hr8.shtml
July 27, 20179 yr Author We're in the 4th....Things haven't gotten better for the Brewers....Nationals are now up to 8 HRs today. 15-1. MLB record is 10. Can they hit 3 more?
July 27, 20179 yr I seem to remember a time within the last 15 years the Reds did it? Maybe it was someone else in the central.
July 27, 20179 yr I seem to remember a time within the last 15 years the Reds did it? Maybe it was someone else in the central. They did it in 1999. They hit 9 vs the Phillies on 9/4/1999. I looked that game up and they won 22-3. HR by Aaron Boone, Damitri Young, Jeff Hammonds, Eddie Taubensee (2), Greg Vaughn, Pokey Reese, Brian Johnson, and Mark Lewis. Stan Belinda got a save in that game, how does that happen? were the rules different then than they are now?
July 27, 20179 yr Are they playing at GABP? :lol2: Better yet, are they hitting off Redlegs staff? Doesn't matter if it's at GABP or not.
July 27, 20179 yr Not to thread jack, but what about the Reds turning a triple play the other night and a run scored on the play. I'm sure that is rare as well.
