The Reds and Playoff Tiebreakers!

I don't think anyone will deny that Sanchez is the best the Marlins have to offer. His stuff is tuff! If I was told the Reds would get seven knocks tonight, I would take my chances. Maybe Michalak will get a stomach virus around gametime.

Math...there's way too much blame on Narron and not enough blame put on the old front office. They're a .500 team playing .500 ball. Not sure what else you want.

Preliminary mathematical calculations from the Mathemagician's Institute of Democratic Enlightenment give the Reds between a 4 and 7% of tying for the NL Central.(6-9% if Narron lapses into a coma)

Sounds about right...

Oh and "87% of all statistics are made up on the spot.":D

A person can give all the % and numbers they want to and the fact remains it is pointless to even discuss it - The Reds imo have to win out......period and then we still might not make it.

I know there is much front office blame to go around also. Griffey and his salary/contract is the single biggest reason we have been unable to afford big-time pitching and therefore no playoffs.

I am sure that is probably right. If they go 5-0, the Cards 3-3, and the 'Stros 3-2, we'll play the Birds in STL next Tues. I doubt if the Cards play less than .500 in their remaining six. So yeah, we better win out!

How about this one:

The Reds win all their games, while St.Louis and Houston lose all theirs', the Reds win Central going away.
