I saw a short clip of the original interview and I am not surprised her employer took action against her after the appearance.

Agreed title of this thread is a little bit misleading. I don't think the event got her in trouble it was the entire unhinged interview and her obvious deep seeded hatred for white people. No way you could have her teaching students.

The event itself while I think is the opposite of what BLM claims to stand for or what to accomplish, they have every right to do it.

If we need to edit the title to more accurately reflect the facts as we know them please give me some help and I will take care of it.

I'm more interested in the BLM rationalization that eclusions by race is not racism.

A lot of the politics involved in BLM as a movement are centered on an idea in a lot of social science writing in the last 40-50 years that suggest that "racism" requires a political-power element.

The idea is that there is a difference between racial bigotry or prejudice or whatever you'd like to call it and racism in itself, which requires a dominant racial identity (in this case, white) asserting itself over another (black) in a cultural, economic, and political way.

Given that definition, while it's still possible for black people to be prejudiced toward white people, it is fundamentally impossible for that prejudice to properly be termed "racism" in our society.

Yeah, with the way the left has twisted the use of pejoratives like misogyny, racism, homophobia and xenophobia to fuel the flames of their base and as a weapon against those who disagree with them I have no issue with using the term racist to describe this woman. Blatant racism.

She has been fired.
