Doty with 12ks. Gave up 2 hits (1 was an infield hit). 123 pitches.

Birds vs PRP on Saturday at 8:30.

JB went with SR Doty and he delivered big time. So happy for Ethan and JB and the Birds.

Although many thought JB would start Michigan commit Drew Rom in the opener he went with the experienced saavy Senior. Ethan has pitched varsity for 3 years and is the consummate team player.

Good luck to the Birds vs PRP tomorrow night.

Way to go Birds! Bring back the title to NKY.

Congrats to JB and his kids.

Risky move putting a D3 (Otterbein commit) pitcher up against a D1 (Marshall Commit). JC's 2nd pitcher is a D2 (KWC Commit). Why would you throw off like that?

He didn't throw off. Two strong options.

Disagree.....Ethan Doty is Highlands most Experienced Pitcher and is more than Likely the Most Experienced in the State Tourney this year. If he is not it can't be that far off...Ethan Doty is a Solid Move to start the Tourney.
