June 9, 20179 yr The B-Side to Fleetwood Mac's - "Dreams" was this pretty little number sung by Christine McVie One of the great Fleetwood Mac numbers. I'm one of those rare birds that's always thought Chrissie was better than Stevie, and this is my proof.

June 9, 20179 yr This was the B-Side to The Eagles "Life In The Fast Lane". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdoFoSrn2c0 Here's another case where I like the B-side MUCH, MUCH better than the A . The Last Resort is a terrific tune .

As someone who has spent a bunch of evenings over the years at venues listening to FM, I totally concur. When I think of a voice that says FM to me it is Christine McVie.
June 9, 20179 yr How about this for a B-side??? The flip side to Lindsey Buckingham's "Go Your Own Way," "Silver Springs" was Nicks' pointed comeback at her ex-lover. Stevie wasn't happy that the tune was relegated to the flip side of Lindsey's song. She wanted "Silver Springs" to be included on Rumors , as it should have been. Papa, you make a great point about Chrissie. The first FM song that I ever remember listening to was "Spare Me a Little of Your Love." It was 1972, three years before Stevie came along. So, for me, the signature voice of FM was Christine. [video=youtube;Rp-h9QbksT0]

If "Songbird" is Exhibit A , then allow me to introduce Christine's melancholy but hauntingly beautiful track from Tusk called "Over and Over" as Exhibit B. It's impossible to listen to "Over and Over" and say that Christine wasn't the best that FM had to offer. In a word, simply sublime. Edited June 9, 20179 yr by Science Friction
June 9, 20179 yr CDB's "Funky Junky" was the B-Side on my .45 to "Uneasy Rider". Love "Funky Junky" and never would have discovered it if not for being a fantastic B-side single.
June 9, 20179 yr Beth was on the B side of Detroit Rock City. Beth ended up the highest charting song for KISS I believe. That is a great call -- "Beth" was awesome.
