May 24, 20179 yr Haha, so we are rushing around the house this morning to get out the door for school and work and I hear loud screams from the other end of the house. I run to see what's happening and find my wife freaking out and the kids laughing. The cat caught a cardinal and brought it inside the house...still alive. Of course the cat runs under the bed and the cardinal comes flying out inside the house. Luckily, it went into the bathroom. I quickly slammed the door to make sure it was contained. I couldn't think of what to do, so i ran to the garage and grabbed a fishing net. I went in, made the capture and bird was released alive and unharmed. Now that's a funny story...but I really didn't expect it to be on the news. Funny stuff...hope this gives you BGPers a good laugh :lol2: Not in our house! UK fan captures cardinal dragged in by cat
May 24, 20179 yr My wife would be mortified if our bathroom made its way onto TV! Saw it this morning on your facebook, no clue it got onto TV. You cheated by using the fishing net!!
May 24, 20179 yr My cat left a dead mole for me on my back deck this week and I cursed her as I scooped it up and threw it in the woods. I'm going home to apologize to my kitty; a live one in my house would have been a thousand times worse!
May 24, 20179 yr Author To be fair, I literally had 5 minutes to take action or we were going to be late for my boy's awards ceremony at school. So I had to deal with it swiftly. As for the bathroom...I'm coaching two youth sports and we both work during the week so that's just how life really looks for us on a Wednesday morning. We generally just keep it real.
