I am going to take a guess. That is 128 players who were picked in the first round. I am going to guess less than 10% (13 players).

Big difference is Joe Thomas played LT. Pretty known fact LT get a lot more recognition than a RT. As I said before it not a coincidence that Anderson started making pro bowls once Marvin became coach and the Bengals actually became kind of relevant. As a lineman once you make it, you basically make it every year based on reputation.

Yes I do. Similar to Corey Dillon. He wasn't a first round pick. However, I do believe he would have been a hall of fame running back and probably would have put up insane numbers if he played for any other team. However he spent years going against 8 and probably even 9 man boxes because they had no qbs who could throw or even Wrs who could catch during his years. He went to New Englad at this end of his career and still led the league in rushing. However besides in Cincy, most people on the NFL will barely remember Dillon. His status as a great player suffered because of being on horrible Bengal teams. Much like it killed Willie Anderson's status.

 

If Munoz played the same years Anderson did. Munoz may not have been the best ever or shoot may not have even made the hall of fame. The Bengals being so bad those years, killed the status of how great a couple players were like Dillon and Anderson.

 

Munoz maybe not make the HOF, come on, he was so good it wouldn't have mattered when he played, he was going to be noticed, just that good!!
