No clue at all. I'd give one lump sum to each family...for example...my dad's side would get a lump sum and it is split amongst them all. Same for my mom's side. Theoretically speaking give everyone free college tuition and I'm good with that.

Yes. I definitely do. However I do understand the argument against reparations for slavery and I'm not an angry black man over not getting those reparations. It's not a big deal and it will never happen but yes, I do feel that every black family in America deserves reparations.

If that's how you look at it then that's cool too. I'm currently paying for all kinds of stuff that I don't want to pay for. Comes with the territory. I guess if I got that fed up with paying for stuff I don't want to pay for then I could move to another country. No one is making you stay in America if you don't like what your taxes are paying for.

That's a poor response, even stupider idea. So my wife is jamaican, grand parents were immigrants, my children are considered black, my lineage came over as indentured servants. No slave owners here, no slaves here, how does reparations fit our family?

Don't need that answer cause America isn't holding any of us back, I don't need or want your guilt money or handout. I will not be blackmailed by lunacy either. Not what I'm teaching my kids, teach yours they're victims if you feel, mine aren't. That's what your saying when you ask or accept that deal. I've already stated my plans to move to the Caribbean multiple times. I plan to head south as soon as I retire. Sooner if possible.

 

Where do you see backtracking on my part? I was asked if I felt blacks deserve reparations for slavery. My answer is yes. I never offered up how it should be done or the logistics to getting it done. It is impossible to give out reparations fairly and properly and it is way too late to do so. If Donald Trump came on Fox News tomorrow and said all black families get 1,000,000 for reparations because of slavery I definitely wouldn't turn it down and he would become my all time favorite POTUS. I will always be in favor of reparations but regardless of what you think I'm not stupid, I'm not ignorant and I know without a doubt it will never ever ever ever happen so miss me with all that "stupid idea, ignorant idea" rhetoric that you seem to love so much. I'll also add don't worry about my kids or what I am teaching them. They're all doing just fine and will continue to because they have a strong support system behind them. The values and morals that my parents instilled in me are the same values that I try to instill in my kids. We don't need reparations to validate our existence but we'll damn sure take them if offered. If that makes our ideas of reparations "stupid and ignorant" then we'll just be some "stupid and ignorant" folks headed to the bank to cash our reparations checks.
