Reds @ Pirates (4/10-4/12)

That was an interesting move from Price. I don't hate it.

I absolutely love it. Why turn the game over to the guys who are your 11th or 12th best pitchers on the staff?

Big KUDOS to Price for bringing in one of his top relief pitchers in a big situation even though it was only the 3rd inning. I give him very high marks for that move.

1-2-3 in the 4th for Lorenzen. As much as it'd be tempting to send him back out there for a 3rd inning, I'd pull him now. It'd be nice to have him available again this series.

Lorenzen cameup as a starter, I wonder if they have any thoughts of giving that another go. He's developed some really nasty stuff.

No one up in the pen.

No one up in the pen.

I just hope this doesn't go from "Man, what a smart move by Price to bring Lorenzen in in the 3rd inning!" to "Man, what a stupid move by Price to leave Lorenzen in there for that long!"

Reed will suck it up now.

Only 6 games in, but the Reds have the best ERA in the NL....Never would've expected that, regardless of the amount of games. :lol2:

Way to go.

He had a long break between action when he got in that first game. Looks much better tonight.

Real nice inning from Reed.

He gonna try for the 4 inning save?
